"Chemometrics: Data Treatment and Applications" is an indispensable resource for analytical chemists, academics, and advanced students seeking to apply chemometrics in their daily activities. This book stands out for its focus on best practices for treating data from analytical instruments, prioritizing practical application over the mathematical theory of chemometrics. By including case studies that illustrate real-world applications, the book offers a practical and realistic perspective on the use of chemometrics in various contexts.
OpenScience participation
The development of the fifth chapter of the book involved the participation of Openscience in collaboration with the Federal University of Paraná. Entitled “Hyperspectral Imaging Applications,” this chapter is detailed and designed for analytical chemists interested in advancing in the field of hyperspectral imaging. The book covers everything from the introduction to hyperspectral imaging, analysis and image collection techniques, agricultural applications, to camera settings and the development of low-cost equipment for hyperspectral image acquisition.
Additionally, the book features contributions from several other professors and specialists in Analytical Chemistry, Chemometrics, and other scientific fields, providing a comprehensive view of best practices and innovations in the application of chemometrics.
