OpenScience’s Participation in the XIX Chemometrics in Analytical Chemistry – XIXCAC 2024

OpenScience, a Brazilian company with four years of experience in developing innovative technological solutions for agribusiness, is proud to participate in the XIX Chemometrics in Analytical Chemistry (19CAC) 2024. The event will take place from September 9th to 12th, 2024, in the city of Santa Fe, Argentina.

CAC is widely recognized as the leading international conference dedicated to advances in chemometrics in analytical chemistry. The event provides a unique platform for scientists from around the world to exchange knowledge and discuss the latest ideas and innovations in the field.

OpenScience will participate with almost the entire team, presenting some of its internally developed equipment, with a special focus on the innovative Multispectral Microscope. This equipment was recently showcased during the main plenary session of the International Symposium on Food Safety, held at the United Nations headquarters in Vienna. The event was supported financially by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and had the endorsement of the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Itamaraty). Additionally, we detailed the workings of this microscope, along with other OpenScience projects, in chapter 5 of the book "Chemometrics", recently published by Elsevier. These technologies reflect our commitment to offering innovation with simplicity, with applications ranging from quality control and fraud inspection to food safety.

At CAC, we will once again have the opportunity to demonstrate the advanced capabilities of the multispectral microscope, which is driving fraud detection forward. In addition, OpenScience offers a wide range of scientific solutions, including work with REIMS (Rapid Evaporative Ionization Mass Spectrometry), RADIAN ASAP (Rapid Direct Analysis Atmospheric Pressure Solid Analysis Probe), and GC-MS (Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry), as well as multispectral imaging systems. Our team will be present at the event with a booth, ready to discuss how our solutions can be tailored to meet the specific needs of different sectors. These collaborations aim to promote chemometrics in South America and bring universities and applied science closer together.
